Emily Sanderson enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults, as well as working from an attachment perspective with children and families. She believes in integrating a Biblical worldview with evidence-based practices into therapy. Emily specializes in attachment and trauma.
Emily is a Nationally Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor. She is trained in the Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) model to work with children who have attachment challenges and is trained in using Theraplay. She completed both her practicum and internship with Pathways.
She is a graduate of The University of Alabama with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a concentration in Adolescent Development. She completed her Masters in Clinical/Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montevallo.
She has been with Pathways since June of 2014.
