Kelly Arant enjoys working with persons of all ages dealing with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, and trauma. Kelly also has a passion for working with ministry spouses as well. She practices primarily from a strength-based, solution-focused therapeutic approach, while also utilizing interventions from several counseling theories. This allows her to tailor the counseling to the unique needs of her clients.

Kelly is a Nationally Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor. She is certified to administer PREPARE/ENRICH Assessments, a tool for pre-marital/marital counseling and has also completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She is currently working toward earning the Registered Play Therapy credential.

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montevallo. She completed her clinical internship at UAB Palliative Care and the UAB Acute Center for the Elderly (ACE). She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Alabama Counseling Association.

Kelly has been with Pathways since April 2017.
