KELLY ARANT

Kelly Arant enjoys working with persons of all ages, dealing with a variety of issues. She practices from a trauma-informed perspective, utilizing interventions from several counseling theories. This allows her to tailor the counseling to the unique needs of her clients. 

Kelly is a Nationally Certified, Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor, and a Registered Play Therapist. She is trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, Micro Current Neurofeedback, and Trauma Focused CBT; all of which are for treating trauma. Kelly is trained in the attachment informed therapy of Theraplay and is also certified to administer both the Prepare & Enrich, and Gottman Level One assessments for counseling married/engaged couples. 

Kelly earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and her Masters of Education in Counseling from the University of Alabama. 

Kelly enjoys teaching and supervising clinicians who are completing their education, or who are just beginning their counseling career. She also enjoys presenting to groups on a myriad of counseling topics.

Kelly has been with Pathways since April 2017 and has served as the Clinical Director since March 2022.
